Hi! My name is Randy Humphries and I am an interactive designer for BarkleyREI formally known as Ripple Effects Interactive. I'm currently residing in the city of champions, Pittsburgh.

Brief professional history

I graduated from PTI back in 1996 with an Associates is Graphic Design. I was the sole designer at a small blues magazine in West Virginia called Blues Revue. Yes I'm traditionally a print designer. Few years later around 1999, I came back to Pittsburgh and worked at Allerton Marketing eventually moving on from the print world and into the interactive world at Mind Over Media. Around 2004, I found my way down to Miami and became the Senior Web Designer at Alienware. While at Alienware I worked with some very amazing people. All of us have moved on to different things now. I wanted to get back to my hometown of Pittsburgh. Which is how I came to work for BarkleyREI with some other amazing people.

About the site

This domain has always served as my portfolio, but now I'm expanding it to more of an everything about me. I'll write about anything from design, music, personal things and stuff found on the web. The site is hosted at Dreamhost, it's powered by WordPress and designed and developed by myself.
